Frequently Asked Questions

  • Should I eat before or after?
    You should not eat 2 hours before and 1 hour after treatment.
  • Can I bring someone into the room?
    Absolutely no other individuals are allowed into the room. Body sculpting is a personal experience. The service provider also needs ample room to move around and lay out her tools.
  • If you are experiencing any of the following, we cannot work on you:
    • Pregnant • Breastfeeding • HIV/AIDS • Cancer (all forms) • Undergoing chemotherapy or immune therapy • Immunodeficiency • Lupus • High blood pressure (uncontrolled) • Diabetes (uncontrolled) • Keloid scarring • Excessive pigmentation • Vein inflammation • Prednisone and other steroid medications (treatment will increase inflammation) • Chemical peels and laser resurfacing • Sunburn
  • Should I drink water?
    Drink at least 2 liters of water 48 hours BEFORE DAY OF APPOINTMENT before and after + each day during in between sessions.
  • What should I wear?
    Wear your own black, navy blue undergarments (thong underwear, regular or sports bar is ok). We have disposable thongs and bras if needed.
  • Can I be on my menstrual cycle?
    If you are on your menstrual cycle we CANNOT work on you ( if it is past your first 3 days and you have light flow or spotting & no cramping we can work on you).
  • Can I drink alcohol?
    Do not drink ANY alcohol 48 hours before or & after appointment.
  • Should I massage the area of treatment?
    Use a dry brush or gently Massage area of treatment
  • Side effects
    Body Contouring procedures typically have no downtime and side effects are rare. These procedures will increase the metabolism and circulation of the areas treated. The skin of the treated areas will be pink & might bruise a little and slightly warm for several hours following treatment. Because of lymphatic drainage effect of the procedures, you may experience lightheadedness or nausea following treatment. This can also occur the morning after the first treatment. Drinking plenty of water or eating a small meal will help any nausea to subside. Bowel movements are normal soon after a treatment as the toxins in your system will be naturally flushed out.
  • Using a cellulite cream
    Using a cellulite cream to treat the epidermal layers of the skin is highly recommended. Creams can be applied after showering or after your treatment. Creams should be applied daily.
  • Should I exercise?
    Do brisk exercise for at least 30 minutes after your treatment to stimulate lymph movement.
